Cigar lit, smile polite, Mickey never raises his voice. “It’s not personal,” he says. “It’s business.” Pete talked too much. The Big Bad Wolf owed too much. Names disappear, problems dissolve, ink dries. Mickey’s the Godfather now. Charming. Ruthless. Immaculate. Come correct and he’ll make your dreams happen.
