Murvellous contemporary British pop artist with original painting

Murvellous Contemporary British Artist ‍ ‍Art inspired by fashion, film and the icons of pop culture.

Murvellous is a contemporary British artist whose work draws inspiration from fashion, music and pop culture.

Born in East London, creativity became both an escape and a voice from an early age. As a teenager, Murvellous found his place in the world of dance, eventually performing professionally after being discovered by an agent from the Eastman Marley Organisation.

His striking presence soon led to a successful modelling career, travelling the world and working with internationally recognised luxury brands including Cartier, Tom Ford and Prada.

From the glamour of the West End to the world of international fashion, Murvellous developed a deep appreciation for style, storytelling and visual culture. These influences now shape the playful and nostalgic spirit found throughout his artwork.

During the Covid lockdowns, with the world suddenly slowed, Murvellous picked up a paintbrush again for the first time in decades. What began with a couple of spare canvases quickly reignited a lifelong passion for art.

Today, his bold and vibrant paintings blend iconic characters, fashion references and cultural moments, celebrating individuality, nostalgia and the joy of pop culture.
